Sometimes it is hard to travel to see a therapist. If you decide you’d like to work with me but can’t travel to my office we can talk about how you can have sessions from home. With new technology, we can use a free software program called Skype that allows us to see each other and talk in real time using our computers. Telephone sessions are another way of doing distance therapy. We can explore the possibility and assess the appropriateness of one of these options during our initial 15-minute phone call. Face to face therapy is the best way to work, but if you are an extremely verbal person and have little trouble opening up to someone you've never met before, Skype or phone sessions may be right for you.
